Green Screen Videos

In 2016, I decided I wanted to learn how to composite video footage taken in front of green screens. So I bought the necessary equipment, and worked with the girls to put together a video of each of them using the technique.

For Claire, I scoured the internet for pre-built background ideas to incorporate her into. I found tornados, and Mario Brothers, and Mortal Kombat style fighting backgrounds. Then I came up with a few ideas on my own, like animating one of her drawings for her to interact with.

For Quinn, I replicated the Jem and the Holograms opening theme, but with Quinn as the star. In a way, this was the more complicated of the two, as some of the shots involved 10-12 layers of composited layers.
