Our summer vacation in 2018 was to the [unusually] sunny Ireland. It was the second time that Laura and I had been to Ireland, so we felt less of a need to see 'the sights'. So our itinerary kept us on the southern coast, travelling from the far southwest (Ballinskellig), through Cork, to the southeast (Wexford) over 12 days. Our friends the Fields joined us for the first few days as we traveled around the Ring of Kerry.
